1979 UK double-sided flyer. Produced in tiny quantities to promote
what must have been a fantastic night out at the legendary UK venue
'Friars' in Aylesbury: Wire were the headliners and the Cure were
support [alongside long forgotten local punk band The Beez]. The
reverse features a long written piece which reviews Wire's Chairs
Missing and the Cure's Three Imaginary Boys ["Japanese and Arabian
undertones keep emergingon this superb album"!] This was the Cure's
debut Friars gig and they would return as support to Siouxsie & the
Banshees just two months later, before eventually headlining in 1981.
Measuring 8" x 13" this fragile paper item has been folded but remains
in stunning condition with just the very lightest of wear.
