wide centred 7" vinyl EP on the blue & silver unboxed curved
Decca logo label with 'Diritti Riservati' box on the A-Side and
'Southern BIEM' logo on the B-Side. Includes Carol, I Just
Wanna Make Love To You, Tell Me (You're Coming Back) and
Route 66, complete with the unique black & white picture sleeve
with a salmon border with white artist text and titles in blue, with
the artwork repeated on both sides. This is one of over fifteen
different variants of this sleeve design, each featuring the same
artwork but with different colours, and each one rare and hard
to find. The sleeve displays some light age wear mostly to the
edges & open edge and has some minor foxing. The labels are
very clean, and the vinyl is graded Excellent with just a few very
light cosmetic surface marks which have no effect on play. A nice

'Il Disco Poker' or 'Carol' [F 11999] is the only EP issued in Italy in the 60's and its exclusive tracklisting seem to compile two singles that were released in Belgium. Italians being not very familiar with the EP format, it was sold with the tag '4 Successi al prezzo di 2' on cover [4 hits for the price of 2']. All picture sleeves shortened 'I Just Want' for the Willie Dixon cover, also misspelled on labels.
