David John Crooks aka Dave Barker is a Jamaican deejay and singer born 1948 in Kingston. Dave Barker started his singing career in the group Two Tones with his two friends Brenton Matthews and Fathead. Barker then sang for a short while with The Techniques alongside Winston Riley and Bruce Ruffin before forming the duo Glen And Dave together with Glen Brown.
