As can be expected after almost sixty years, the flimsy folder type sleeve shows some noticable wear.
There is the beginnings of a split to the spine and the laminate has split in several places around the edges of the front flap.
That said, apart from a little age yellowing and minor edge scuffing, the sleeve has held up pretty well and still is in a very respectable condition.
Not perfect, no, but intact and complete.
The Decca FFSS poly lined inner is the correct one for the period and it can be assumed that this is the original one it came with as this is a one owner copy.
The vinyl remains in spectacular condition and has retained its sheen. Even upon close inspection it is difficult to see even the slightest mark or scuff on the playing surface. There aren't even any noticable spindle marks around the centre hole to speak of.
It is obvious that this copy has been extremely well looked after and although there is some shelfwear evident to the flimsy sleeve, the vinyl is fantastic.
An extremely nice copy of this very rare issue.
