UNKNOWN ARTIST The Beck Studio Acetate 1969 (2020 UK 4-track vinyl LP on Seelie Court, a new archival label home to ultra rare British titles dating between 1965-78, all sourced from a private collection, expertly remastered with audio restoration courtesy of Reynolds Mastering. This particular album went unreleased at the time but was cut in Northampton's Beck studios circa 1969. The band remain completely unknown - only one battered acetate exists which has been held in a privatecollection for decades & valued in excess of £10,000, with all research as to who the band members were drawing blanks. Regardless, this is a superb example of blistering undergound heavy prog-psych with male & female vocal leads & a guitarist completely on fire [think Uriah Heep or May Blitz!].
