 Dance Album (Debut 1959 UK 12-track
deep groove mono LP on the purple & silver London label. This is
simply one of the greatest Rock N Roll records ever recorded by
Sun, including the original version of the huge crossover hit,Blue
Suede Shoes, plus many more raucous rockabilly classics [no less
than three of which were covered by the Beatles!], front
laminated <i>flipback</i> picture sleeve. The flimsy sleeve
shows some very light creasing and a little edge scuffing but
otherwise has withstood the passage of time very well, with
secure flipbacks, no rips or tears and a nice bright sheen to the
cover image as well. There is some age related discolouration to
the reverse, but nothing excessive and overall grades EX-/EX,
the vinyl achieves an Excellent grade with just some light
hairlines and spindle wear to indicate play, playtesting reveals a
great sounding record with just the odd spot of background
noise in between a couple of tracks - not bad at all for a 61 year
