in-demand 1999 UK 18-track 4LP boxset, housed in a 12" stickered
picture box with 8-page full picture/tracklisting insert. Audio obsessive
Mancuso started his legendary 'Loft' parties in NY in 1970, digging
deep with music drawn from all genres, his long, spacey [and
down-right druggy] selections created the blue-print for what became
known as disco and subsequently house - if you want an 'education' in
underground dance music look no further! There's Philly space disco
from Dexter Wansell, leftfield synth-pop/proto house from Brian
Briggs, Chicago house from Larry Heard, afro-beat from Manu Dibango
and more. Condition-wise the box shows some inevitable scuffing and
two corners of the lid have torn [quite minimal], the inner sleeves are
all intact. The vinyl is graded overall as Excellent [with one side VG] as
there are a few light hairlines/scuffs visible but nothing that affects
