The original UK stereo releases (1966-67) used the 1966 US mix and had a printed "STEREO" logo at the top centre of the front cover. Later stereo releases (1968-69) used the mono cover with a hexagonal gold foil "Stereo" sticker on the back. The records have orange CBS labels. The 1968 US mix was not used in the UK until around 1982.
The labels have 'Bob Dylan' at the top and Blonde On Blonde followed by Record 1/2. All labels are credited to B. Feldman. All labels use the older rough textured paper.
The stamped Matrices in the run off are SDDP 66012 A/1, B/2, C/3 & D/1.
Condition :-
The sleeve shows light signs of wear with a little laminate chipping at the spine, although not impacting on the off-set text. The front & back show only a few light creases in the laminate & a little ringwear. The interior is still off-white with the flipbacks still secure. The original CBS die-cut catalogue inners are included with no seam splits.
The vinyl has light signs of play with a scattering of hairlines & scuffs; there is a deep hairline which goes the whole of Side 2 of record 1, which although deep enough to be felt, had little impact on sound during play testing, meaning that whilst graded as Good, we feel the reproduction to be higher.
A nice copy at a knockdown price.
