chronological, career-spanningcompilation that brings
together key recordings from both bands on a single release.
Originally issued in 2011 it remains the first collection to
formally combine Joy Division and New Order material in one
sequence and presents a concise but wide-ranging overview
of two closely linked catalogues that continue to shape
post-punk, electronic, and alternative music. The album
traces a clear musical and emotional arc: from Joy Division's
stark, tightly coiled recordings such as "Transmission",
"She's Lost Control", and "Atmosphere", through to New
Order's transformation into a more rhythm-driven, expansive
group with defining tracks including "Blue Monday", "Bizarre
Love Triangle", "True Faith", and "Regret". The compilation
also includes "Hellbent", a previously unreleased New Order
recording, exclusive to this project. Pressed across two LPs
and housed in a gatefold picture sleeve, factory sealed.
