VARIOUS Louisiana Cajun & Creole Music, 1934: The Lomax Recordings (1987 US 38-track double LP, recorded for The Library Of Congress in 1934 in Louisiana, not by Alan Lomax but his father John A. Lomax, the original American teacher, musicologist & folklorist. These fascinating recordings come complete with a deluxe gatefold picture sleeve containing a 26-page integral booklet of song lyrics, rare photos & historic notes. The cover is super clean & in superb condition. Both vinyl discs appear barely touched or played LP-8003-2).
