Status Quo Picturesque Matchstickable Messages - Autographed UK vinyl LP album (LP record) Tracklisting / Additional Info: Background One of the world's best known rock bands, here the Quo are in their first psychedelic incarnation, which they were soon to discard in favour of their more familiar sound as this album failed to chart and the follow-up Spare Parts fared just as badly. The acid-induced sound makes some good use of phasing and psychedelic whimsy vocals to give a very definite 1967-68 sound. The album includes covers of Spicks And Specks and Green Tambourine as well as the original standout tracks Black Veils OF Melancholy and Technicolor Dreams & the well known Pictures Of Matchstick Men Condition The sleeve shows juat a little light shelfwear with minor creases to the laminate & a little scuffing at the opening. The colours remain bright & vibrant. The vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few light surface hairlines to show for nearly fifty years, leaving it still sounding great. This is only the second copy we have ever stocked and the autograph and promotional photograph make it unique.
