The third album by the rock/metal pioneers, released on the 21st July 1971 and credited as the foundation of doom, stoner and sludge metal. Certified double platinum after having sold over two million copies.

Condition
The laminated box sleeve has a top opening and was manufactured and printed by Howards Printers Ltd. These are usually found in poor condition simply due to how they were manufactured. This copy has some light laminate lift around the embossing to the front and a little to the spine, but has very little wear with just a couple of light creases in the laminate on the edges.
The labels are the one-off ‘reversed’ swirl design with black background and white text, and the small swirl logo and ‘VERTIGO’ text above the spindle. Apart from a couple of the lightest spindle marks, the labels are extremely clean. It's clear this copy was bought for keeps, rather than plays.
This is backed up by the vinyl, which shows barely any sign of play and for being almost fifty [!] years old this is one of the best examples we have ever seen.
Now we come on to the rarest part of this pressing, the poster. This is certainly the best example we have ever seen, printed on the slightly thicker stock paper and with a matt finish not glossy. This has been stored from new folded inside the sleeve, the print on the creases is complete without many signs of this being unfolded and has never been displayed.
This has obviously been keep in a smoke free enviorment as both the inner and the reverse of the poster both remain a very clean white, the inner has just faint signs of age but is still in an amazing condition.
It would be a miracle to actually find a better copy, this really is by far the best example we have seen in a very long time.
