THE HOLLIES Confessions Of The Mind (Here is a peculiar one for the Hollies collector, offered 'as found'... it's a one-sided Test Pressing for Side A of the 1970 UK LP, featuring the first six songs on the album from 'Survival Of The Fittest' to 'Confessions Of A Mind', found alongside the regular LP, which we are also including. The test press [for Side A only] has the 'YEX 805-1' matrix stamped in the run-off & the label is plain white with a giant 'stereo' stamp & artist name (sic) annotation, housed in a plain card reference sleeve with a 'Sep 1970' release date stamp. The stock LP is the first edition on the 'one box' Parlophone label with 'Gramophone' perimeter text, textured sleeve, picture insert & company inner. Both parts grade 'VG' as there is a little corner creasing & scuffing to the lyric sleeve, & the test vinyl has a number of faint paper hairlines & scuffs which have little effect on play. The stock vinyl is Excellent with light play only PCS7116).
