Elaine And Derek Thompson were twins from Belfast. They were active as a duo between 1961 & 1965, releasing several singles and one more album before morphing into Odin's People in 1967 and releasing three more singles as a folk trio with Larry Johns also on Guitar.
This first album is a more choral affair, consisting of Hymns, although their singles tended to be more uptempo affairs.
Condition:
The sleeve shows just minor creasing at the edges in places with the back remaining close to white. There is an MT tax stamp at the bottom.
Apart from a small amount of damage to the right corner of the bottom flip, this really is in an amazing state of preservation.
The vinyl remains in staggering excellent condition with little sign of play & no spindle wear at all. The only clue to its fifty five years of age is that the gold print on the label has started to flake a bit.
An amazing copy of this very early UK Stereo LP !
