SEX PISTOLS Dennis Morris S.P.O.T.S. (Sex Pistols On Tour) Framed
Print (From the personal collection of Martin Goldsmith, responsible for
licensing & merchandising for some of the biggest organisations and
for many of the worlds iconic events comes this mega-rare 2005/6 UK
limited edition autographed print by legendary punk
photographer Dennis Morris. This incredible live shot, capturing the
band with (then) new member Sid Vicious, was taken at the Winter
Gardens, Penzance (01/09/77) where they were billed as S.P.O.T.S.
(Sex Pistols On Tour) as a means to get round the blanket ban that
most local authorities were implementing at this time. The black & white
print measures approximately 36.½" x 53" within the dark
wood/mahogany style finished frame and 31" x 47" unframed. The
print is one of only 40 made and was created for a Dennis Morris Sex
Pistols retrospective entitled Hope & Glory at the Max Wigram Gallery in
2005/6. The condition of the picture and frame is superb, having only
been framed for storage purposes, where it has remained until now!
For any lover of the Sex Pistols this is one must-have item, not only
was it taken by one of the unsung hereoes of the punk movement but
it also captures the band in their full filth and fury at one of the few UK
