JOHN LEE HOOKER The Folk Lore Of John Lee Hooker (Amazing 1964 US second issue of the 1961 12-track Mono compilation LP, pasted picture sleeve with 'Stereo' sticker on the front although it still is probably Mono. It is impossible to say for sure which label variationthis copy has as by some miracle it has remained FACTORY SEALED for the last fifty years & remains pristine, just as you would have bought it way back then. The album was first issued in 1961 with a rainbow rimlabel with the company name in an oval or later brackets. This second issue happened just as Vee-Jay changed printers and is without the 'Made In U.S.A.' text on the front. A magnificent copy of this selection of classic recordings LP1033).
