One of the hardest UK Vertigo LPs to find in anything approaching acceptable condition, and one of the most highly-rated musically - an inventive mix of jazz, blues and hard rock with outstanding guitar work by Ollie Halsall.
The sleeve folds out to reveal the signatures of each band member. Each autograph is unhurried and nicely set against the white background and images with quirky musical doodles and a message from Patto in capitals at the bottom.
The fold-out sleeve was prone to damage as a result of its construction with three separate front sections. This copy remains VERY GOOD with some light edge scuffing and two small thumbnail tears in the spine. The print is unblemished and the signatures look wonderful!
The tracklisting, credits and individual portraits of the band members are printed on the reverse of the fold-out sections, with the lyrics to all compositions on the back.
The labels have some spindle marks though nothing severe. The vinyl is clean, despite some surface wear and a couple of light hairlines, this is still a very serviceable VG+ example wih lots of play left and still sounding great.
The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the 'dead wax' areas:

One of the truly classic Vertigo 'swirl' label releases, and with a fully autographed sleeve, this is a must - it's what collecting's all about, right?
