almost fictional group recruited by Eric Clapton which came together
during the sessions for George Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass' album
in 1970. The band released only one studio album. Released in 1970,
'Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs' melded an astounding
collection of musical styles – Blues, Folk, R&B andRock – into one
timeless package. This Super Deluxe Edition Box comprises FOUR
CDs including the digitally remastered 14-track CD album; a
13-track album of previously unreleased recordings, live
performances and the last ever band recording - 'Got To Get Better In
A Little While', presented here as both a mesmerising jam version and
also as the first ever release of the completed studio version; a newly
remastered [from the original master tapes] and expanded 'In
Concert' 2-CD set; a DVD including stunning DTS 5.1 and
Dolby Surround 5.1 mixes of the album, mixed by the legendary
engineer Elliot Scheiner; plus the 14-tracks pressed across a 2-LP
Vinyl Set. Presented in stunning packaging containing a book
featuring a new essay by Ashey Kahn and rare photos & pictures, a
High Quality Layla art print, Derek & The Dominos badges
[including the iconic 'Derek is Eric' slogan on one], Concert ticket
