GIL EVANS Where Flamingos Fly (1981 Japanese 6-track LP featuring songs from 1971. This album features a selection recorded shortly after Gil decided to put together a permanent big band & showcase ten or fifteen members including saxophonistsBilly Harper and Howard Johnson, Airto Moreira on Percussion, Lenny White on Drums, Don Preston on Synths & Flora Purim on Vocals, complete with fold out illustrated Japanese insert, picture sleeve & obi-strip. The sleeve shows just a littlewear on the corner & a few spots of discolouration to the back of the obi, whilst the vinyl is Near Mint K26P6127).
