MC5 Shakin' Street (2009 Russian limited edition double LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL - '60s California had the hippies, Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin, while Detroit had the White Panthers, the Stooges and the MC5. From the band thatpaved the road for punk rock comes this twenty five song collection of demos, outtakes and live performances tracing the band from its beginnings in 1965 up to their last recordings in 1971. Including some gems like an uncensored “Kick Out The Jams”, the rare A-Square single of “Looking At You”, the High Time outtake “Gotta Keep Moving”. The package also includes a bonus CD of the entire album - no downloads, no internet connections, just the big black disc in one hand and the little shiny one in the other! The picture sleeve has a card 'bookmark' to hold the CD in place. this copy has remained factory sealed from new & is therefore still mint & unplayed! LR302).
