STEVE VAI Western Vacation (2010 issue UK 9-track CD album - In the early 1980's, Steve Vai had just moved to California. His house was like a home for wayward musicians. One of those musicians living there was Marty Schwartz, Steve's friend fromhis Berklee School Of Music Days. In Steve's backyard, in the now legendary Stucco Blue Studio, 'Western Vacation' was created by Marty Schwartz, and features a handful of Frank Zappa alumni, including Tommy Mars, Bob Harris and Steve Vai! 'Western Vacation' takes you on a Progressive Musical Journey with uplifting melodic textures and dynamic musicianship! Bob Harris's voice is as sweet as a red velvet cupcake and the melodies on this record are delicious).
