SIPHIWO Hope (2010 UK CD album - Siphiwo Nsthebe was one of the truly great voices of the new South Africa, and had been on an extraordinary journey, from an impoverished upbringing set against the backdrop of apartheid-era South Africa to singing opera in prestigious international venues in front of royalty and world leaders. Before his sudden passing last week, Sip was to have one of the proudest moments of his career singing 'Hope' at the opening ceremony of the World Cup. 'For me this is a song about having a positive anchor in life. No matter what you believe or what you don't believe, We should never lose hope.'
