to celebrate the virtuoso's 80th birthday. Not onlydoes the set show
his work Granz, but it features his interpretations of works by Kern,
Arlen, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Gershwin and many more; sessions
he recorded with Granz and the enigmatic Billie Holiday; as well as the
Jazz At The Philharmonic sessions from 1953 and collaborative pieces
with the creme de la creme of the industry: Lester Young, Ben
Webster, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie and a rare session with the unique
Flip Phillips. Each disc is housed in an individual LP replica sleeve,
complete with booklet and collection of commemorative Canadian
