Printed on heavy paperboard, these roughly 12x12 inch sheets were taped, stapled, or pinned to shop walls, windows, browser stands and display bins to flag a new release, then discarded once the campaign moved on, which is why so few survive in good condition today. This example was produced by Island Records to promote the 2005 UK single release of "City Of Blinding Lights," taken from How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. It carries the single's artwork with bold red-and-white boxed lettering detailing the release date and available formats. This copy is unused and was never displayed.
