showcasing the true extent of SRV's talent and showmanship. Classic
tracks and blues-rock covers aplenty, this box still has some surprises
in store, as these 'standards' are complimented by many previously
unreleased gems; the DVD, for example, is a previously unreleased
'Austin City Limits taping from 1989. The four custom printed discs are
issued in a 10"x6"x1" book-style box, with promo-stickered reverse,
and is still in original wrapping, complete with Japanese hype sticker on
the front. With tracks from Vaughan's early performances with Paul
Ray and the Cobras to the larger, and more elaborate, performances
in his final months, and everywhere in between, this well presented set
has to be heard to be believed).
