THE HOLD STEADY A Positive Rage (2009 UK 2-disc [CD/DVD] set - The Hold Steady present their first-ever live album. Recorded on 31st October 2007, the enhanced CD includes seventeen songs that Craig Finn, Tad Kubler, Galen Polivka, Franz Nicolay& Bobby Drake performed on the second of their two-night sold-out stand at the Chicago Metro venue; and comes expanded with a CD-Rom section which when opened reveals a secret website where you can download bonus tracks including 'Ask Her ForAdderall', 'Cheyenne Sunrise' & 'Two Handed Handshake' and two previously unreleased tracks, 'Spectres' & '40 Bucks'. Plus the Bonus DVD featuring a 53-minute documentary which begins with The Hold Steady's first ever London headline performances in February 2007, with never before-seen live footage, backstage interviews with the band members, fan commentary and the original, raw audio. Cameras follow the band as they return to the US for a 24-date tour that culminates on screen with an especially poignant performance at First Avenue, in Craig Finn's hometown, Minneapolis. Complete with a picture booklet containing personal photos and the band's memories of the tour.).
