As mentioned in the main description this set includes passes from the 1994 World Tour to promote 'The Division Bell' album. Includes three square satin passes each with identical design featuring a head & shoulders statue image on the right with 'Pink Floyd' & 'World Tour 1994' down the right side, along the bottom is the 'Local Crew' text all printed in blue, also has a blank space for a name/ID to be written - the background colour on each pass is different - green, purple and yellow.
Each pass has retained the original peelable backing with manufacturer 'Otto' logo and address details, confirming these to be genuine passes.
Also includes a laminate pass which is almost identical to the others in design, features some kind of picture background with the statue image on the right with 'Pink Floyd' & 'World Tour 1994' green text down the left side, above the statue inage is the well know 'P' logo, at the bottom is 'Local Crew' green text along with a blank space for an id to be written, on the back is the Otto logo & address repeated all over.
Information On Passes
The passes would have been custom manufactured on adhesive backed rayon acetate satin cloth with a removable paper backing, the early versions simply had a plain backing but soon started to have the manufatures name/logo and sometimes the address printed.
Bands touring multiple cities and large venues had their passes printed on large sheets, with layouts featuring multiple designs including different colour combinations plus details for different tour staff and areas of access.
Only a few are then cut into the different shapes so that there is no waste. Usually at the end there some printing overruns, set-up sheets, color test prints, printer's proof sheets, and discarded misprints which are usaually destroyed but some do survive and are very rare
