THE DOORS Collector's Edition (2008 Dutch exclusive All Region PAL XBox-compatible 3-disc DVD set: disc 1 [DTS Digital Surround Sound] features live performances from the group's 1968 European Tour, introduced and narrated by Paul Kantner & Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane, who shared the bill with the group on this historic tour; disc 2 [Dolby Digital 5.1] offers a truly unique compilation of 3 completely different Doors performances from a concert in Toronto in 1967, from their only European Tour in 1968 and then from New York in 1969, plus Jim Morrison’s only camera interview, accompanied by commentary from the remaining Doors, while disc 3 [Dolby Digital Stereo] is a full exploration of the controversial & quixotic singer, delving into his fascination with cinema & psychology, mysticism & sexuality, poetry & power. In addition to performance clips of the band in action, it features interviews with all surviving members, and many others who were instrumental in creating and maintaining the legend, from record producer Paul Rothchild to biographers Danny Sugerman & Jerry Hopkins, total running time approx 238 minutes, presented in a sealed unique card slipcase).
