JOHN LEE HOOKER / EARL HOOKER Family Matters (2008 UK 12-track CD album comprising a collection of tracks by John Lee Hooker and his cousin Earl Hooker; drawn from the Jewel Paula archives. John Lee needs no introduction and in the autumn days of his career enjoyed great success with his albums 'The Healer' & 'Mr Lucky'. Earl Hooker was John Lee's cousin who sadly died back in 1970. He pioneered the use of double neck guitar and was much admired by Jimi Hendrix and the tracks featuredon this collection illustrate why his guitar skills were much admired.).
