THE MIRROR :
The mirror measures approximately 30" x 21" including the wooden frame and is a landscape format. The mirror is screen printed in a stylish and effective 3-colour design (yellow, red and black) and features the Mid-Summer Music Festival jukebox logo in the bottom left hand corner, while the majority of the design is taken by the list of stellar artists that performed at the festival :
Elton John, The Beach Boys, Eagles, Joe Walsh, Rufus & Stackridge, with compere Johnny Walker.
The bottom part of the mirror has all the venue details and ticket prices.
With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, one of the most successful tour promoters, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.
Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.
Despite being 48 years old this mirror remains in excellent condition. A remarkable artefact for one of pops most enduring artsists!
