The mirror measures 22" x 28" and is stylishly framed in wood.
'WHAM!' is boldly printed in the centre of the glass in red, this dominates the mirror and is visually impressive. Above the band name is the statement :
The most successful British pop group of the 1980's have decided to call it a day.
That day is June 28th 1986 at Wembley Stadium' printed in blue.
All the booking information, ticket prices etc are printed at the bottom of the mirror, along with 'Many Thanks, Mel Bush'
Red and blue outlines border the entire text, drawing your eyes to the centre of the piece.
With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, once a successful tour or concert had taken place, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.
Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.
Despite being 22 years old the mirror remains in pristine condition having been preserved in bubble wrap in the Mel Bush archive since it was commisssioned.
A spectacular display item with provinence and historical importance.
