PINK FLOYD Galaxy Entertainments Contract (Rare original 1967 UK contract drawn up between Rotherham Students Union & Galaxy Entertainments Agency on the 17th March for the bands appearance at Clifton Hall, Rotherham on March 23rd. The contract is on the Agencies headed paper and details salary details and management expectations. For the sum of eighty pounds the band was expected to play two thirty minute sets. A genuine, one off piece of Syd era Floyd history!)

Tracklisting / Additional Info: This incredible document dates from the very early days of 'The Pink Floyd'.

Arnold Layne had been released only the week before and the band had finished a mere one track [Chapter 24] for their debut album which was still a full five months from release.

By the day of the gig, the band would have just finished recording 'See Emily Play' ...

The contract sheet itself is on yellow pre printed paper measuring 13" x 8" with the details of the event & agreement typed upon it. It is in superb condition & free from any rips or tears - incredible for forty year old paper goods.

Interestingly, not only did the band have to provide their own transportation to Rotherham but also "[had to] appear in person throughout the entire performance" - No chance of sending in the clones then ...

A wonderful unique piece of Pink Floyd & Sixties memorabilia that would look superb framed - Especially with a period photograph or the 'Piper' album cover.
