A little known fact about this 12" single is that it was distributed to radio stations with the then current edition of Australian Rolling Stone Magazine. This would likely to have been a subscription drive and the 'Trip Through Your Wires' 12" was commissioned by Rolling Stone Australia for this particular promotion as U2 were on the cover and were crowned the magazines band of the year. The Issue number was 417, April 1988 edition.
