FOETUS The Foetus Of Excellence (Very rare 1985 UK limited edition picture box which was limited to just 836 copies, designed to hold all the Foetus vinyl releases that had been issued up to that point on the Self Immolation/Some Bizarre label (up to six). This box is FULL with two rare LPs, one rare EP & three rare 12" singles, all in their original picture sleeves. The box shows only a couple of light edge scuffs & all vinyl is mint - An amazing collection in fantastic condition! FOE1)

Tracklisting / Additional Info: This box was originally issued in November 1985 simply containing a T-shirt with no music included at all. Limited to a mere 836 copies, the idea was that you took your existing Foetus collection & put it safely away inside. Apparently this strange number was exactly enough to break even on manufacturing costs & it was the one and only release to make the UK pop charts without having a musical recording included!
The box actually lists thirteen titles on the front, but only has sufficient internal space for six or seven, so you would need two boxes if you had everything issued up to that point.
Like most of the boxes, this copy has seen the T-shirt disappear into the mists of time, but the compensating factor is that this box is now FULL of some extremly rare & hard to find early Foetus recordings !
