The UK mono release was a reduction from the US Stereo Mix and is not the same as the US Mono Mix.
This first press came out with two label variants. The first is what we have here, with the second adding 'MONO' text and a '<-->' to the left of the centre hole.
This first issue is also known to have A2/B1 matrices, as found here.
The Upton Printing Group front laminated picture sleeve is the same as was used for the first stereo issue, but without a gold 'STEREO' sticker on the back.
Condition:
The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear and the vinyl remains in superb condition with just a few light cosmetic surface scuffs visible upon close inspection to show for over fifty years and very little sign of play leaving it Excellent.
A very nice copy indeed of this hard to find first UK mono pressing.
