The labels are red with siver print. The Decca logo is unboxed with 'Long Playing ffrr' text underneath the logo. The spindle hole shows some evidence of play, but nothing excessive.
The machine stamped matrix numbers are as follows:
Side one XARL 6791-3A
Side two XARL 6792-1A
Given the chaos that usually surrounded Decca pressings, this is not surprising, nor significant, but is here for completeness' sake only.
The vinyl is in staggering condition, it has retained its original shine despite being almost 40 years old. There is one inaudible light hairline visible on side two, but otherwise as clean as a whistle. The dead vinyl between tracks is near silent.
The front laminated picture sleeve is in beautiful condition. The colours are rich, the laminate is crisp and clean. The edges are free from spilts, tears, scuffing or major shelf wear, the corners sharp. The spine is also undamaged with clearly readable text. Even the unlaminated rear of the sleeve lacks the major discolouration so often found in albums of this age.
A real time warp copy that would make a superb addition to any collection!
