Originally released in 2006, the album explores themes of faith, doubt, guilt, and personal collapse, pairing abrasive dynamics with moments of stark restraint. Tracks such as "Sowing Season" and "Jesus" frame the record's emotional core, while longer, more volatile compositions including "Degausser," "Limousine," and "You Won't Know" push the band into more experimental territory, balancing explosive crescendos against near-silence. The sequencing allows tension to build gradually across the double LP format, reinforcing the album's weight and psychological depth.
