Review:
I recently got this rare item in super Mint condition (Both Media+Sleeve), and in a great price from eil. com. Shipping was handled with extra care to Greece, and I 'm a very happy "Gatherer" now! :)). Was searching for this in MINT condition in the net, but it was too expensive and NOT Mint. The sleeve has some minor storage wear and the vinyl has a couple of light surface marks - an Excellent copy EGOX10)

Review: From the vaults
As always, songs from BBC sessions tend to be more "down to the bone" and less "produced" than album versions. In the case of Killing Joke, their eraliest songs are full of primal energies that here have been caught extremely well in their raw format. I my own (extremely biased) oppinion this works best for the first two Peel sessions ('79 & '80), although "Chop Chop" from the 4th Peel session and "Unspeakable" from the Skinner session leaves you with a strong gut feeling (still don't know if that's a good or bad gut feeling though).
At the time of writing, the four original members Killing Joke have reunited and are touring with a new album promised. Although KJ fans have high hopes for a new release, they're also extremely cautious as the group tend to implode, reform and move to distant parts of the world without prior notice. However, If they can produce tracks of the same intensity as on the BBC sessions CD, then we're all in for a gloomish treat.		[reply to this topic]

These 17 tracks were recorded between 1979-81 and includes a Bonus 3-track Richard Skinner session [from the same period]; complete with sleevenotes were written by Alex Paterson of The Orb [before TheOrb he was the band's roadie])
