Question to EIL:
As you probably know, when The Strokes were poised to release their debut album, the tragedy of September 11th hit, and the release was pushed back so they could remove the song "New York City Cops." I worked at a record store at the time, and we already had the cd in the back stickerd and ready to go when 9/11 happened, and we had to send them back to RCA. I think the release date was originally going to be september 18th. Anyway, after some smooth talking I convinced the manager to let me buy one copy of the cd before we sent them back. I have never seen a copy of this cd anywhere else. It has never been opened. Have you ever come across one? Is this worth anything?		[reply to this topic]

Back in stock for the first time in almost TWENTY years. The vinyl looks barely played issued in the picture sleeve)
