Michael Cambridge - UK Northern Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 16th Apr '08 16:46 (GMT)Fake? HI James Thanks for your posting, and further to my email I can confirm that the signature is genuine albeit a rushed example but this is more due to the signing environment (rushed at an Airport) and the fact the record was still inside when it was signed causing the mild compression due to the vinyl ridges. We take the authenticity of such items very seriously with considerable research undertaken. Once again thanks for taking the time out and taking part in our community experience. Best Wishes Mike Cambridge - Buyer[reply to this topic ]
Re: QUEEN I Want To Break Free (Scarce genuine autograph done in
black ball point pen by Freddie on the front of a vinyl 7" sleeve which
has been cut and fixed with rear sleeve with vinyl disc. This hurried
example was signed at an airport in Germany with the 7" still inside
hence the slight crumpling and ridge effect. These have been housed
in a 19" x 7" black surround andwould look great hung on your wall.
With so many nasty internet fake autographs be assured this is the
real deal) **Complete With Certificate Of Authenticity**View this product

Bri Tanbreezy UNITED KINGDOM Created Sun 9th Dec '07 17:47 (GMT)Not the first time!! There was a lot of discussion in the office the other day about this item so I came to the site to see what was being said. I'm not able to answer Stephen's question. However, I do know that there were a great many of the Network Queen sets issued as advised by previous contributors to this thread. Common sense would support my assertion; the description of this item above states amongst other things, "It was commisioned (not my spelling, I just copied and pasted) by Channel 4, a UK TV channel as a promotional tool to help sell advertising time during a proposed broadcast of the highly successful concerts that were held at Wembley Stadium in July 1986" - if Channel 4 wanted to sell "advertising time" (which would be at a premium rate, of course), having commissioned Network Queen for such a promotion, would they be likely to have issued only a few copies to a few select prospects or would they have drenched all of the PR and Media agencies with copies? I think that's a rhetorical question, don't you? Where all of those copies, hundreds if not thousands, went is another question and I for one would like to lay my hands on a few if they can command this sort of money. This copy hasn't sold yet, of course. Perhaps those who kept a copy are unaware of the apparent rarity of the "freebie" they received all those years ago. I suspect that quite a few copies ended up where most promotional material ends up and are currently languishing deep within landfill sites around the country - not everyone was a Queen fan. Perhaps a major media appeal for copies of Network Queen would reveal their whereabouts. However, if all or even a few of the copies hit the market, the selling price of this copy would have to tumble, wouldn't it?[reply to this topic ]
Re: QUEEN Network Queen (Rare original 1986 UK 7" housed in a
unique & elaborate fold-out picture sleeve which constructs into
a 3-D stage. This particular item has attained mythical status
among collectors and this is the ONLY copy ever to
have surfaced onto the market. It was commisioned by UK TV
company Channel 4 as a promotional tool to help sell advertising
during the broadcast) See 'More Info' for a full and detailed

Motomo , NY USA Created Thu 3rd May '07 21:08 (GMT)Magi Moments DVD I really cared for the content of the DVD, but I must say that the background music was really AWFUL and quite a distraction!! I do Not regret the purchase and would buy it again, but the Music is SIMPLY ANNOYING!! And it's not even music by Queen! Seeing Peter Freestone and Peter Straker talking about Freddie was worth a million dollars!!![reply to this topic ]

approtech Telford UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 29th Dec '06 03:03 (GMT)Question to EIL: Queen mispressing value? I have a copy of the Queen 'News of the World' vinyl LP which plays the same on both sides (I think it's the B-side) although it has A and B labels. Many years ago I tried to find out how rare it was, and got hold of a plant manager from the EMI pressing plant who said at most it would have been 30-40, but he wasn't aware of it (and he seemed knowledgeable). Does anyone know how rare this really is, and hence how much it might be worth?[reply to this topic ]
GT Torquay, Devon UNITED KINGDOM Created Tue 5th Dec '06 16:53 (GMT)Queen Belt This belt was in fact available on the Queen Fan Club Merchandise sheet at the start of 1977 after the release of A Day At The Races.
