Syd Barrett Syd Barrett Book UNITED KINGDOM SYDBKSY540497Re: SYD BARRETT Syd Barrett (1990 UK Limited Numbered Edition 70-page softback book tracing the life of the madcap genius through newspaper articles, contains some interesting insights into the exploits of Syd accompanied by lyrics, photographs, quotes and a very bizarre 4-page French comic strip! The cover displays a sticker mark and only minor wear and the pages are free from rips, tears and marks - A great read!)

I bleive Gilmour and company did VERY WRONG to remove Syd from the Floyd....perhaps it was better because they would never understand Syd's TRUE nature and talent. Indeed, that rubbish called The Wall would never have been penned by a genius like Syd!!:)

RIP Syd!
I was there to experience the daze of Syd Barrett's PINK FLOYD.
We here at BRAINCHZZZ RECORDS are saddend, but not shocked.
Before the Daze of the internet, gathering information had very limited sources
on how to get info on musicians like SYD BARRETT.
This is the first we heard of the passing of Syd.
This should be "FRONT PAGE NEWS"

You will find out about more and more artists like Syd,
from this era that have past away and you never even hear about it.
Thanks to the internet, we find out.

Does anyone think Syd can remember his 1st trip ?
Apparently he has lived as a recluse since splitting with Floyd i have seen some creepy footage around on the net where people have secretly filmed him walking around Cambridge with Shine On You Crazy Diamond dubbed over the top .
