double LP on the powder blue Pye label, an early collection of hits from
the band, including the classics Waterloo Sunset, You Really Got Me, All
Day & All Of The Night, Tired Of Waiting For You & Sunny Afternoon.
The gatefold sleeve is Very Good with a library sticker top left & some
edge scuffing & the odd crease from ring wear, however both vinyl
discs remain nice & clean & in Excellent condition with barely any play

Review: Kinks '91 UK CD (Best Hits) Excellent mix of Radio Hits + Obscure-but-excellent tracks + Lovely things in-between. Recorded in Monaural (Mono / non-stereo) - Hard to believe? - Those were the days! Reminds one of listening to these songs in one's AM radio with that one single gawdawful speaker in the top center of the front dash - In fact I'd only ever heard Days before this, being covered by Flo & Eddie (The Phlorescent Leech and Eddie), formerly The Turtles, formerly part of The Mothers of Invention; Who Nu?

German-only STEREO 14-track vinyl compilation LP, manufactured by
Hit-Ton Schallplatten for subscribers to 'Neue Revue' magazine's
record club, housed in a front laminated picture sleeve with a great
colour cover photograph of the klassic Kinks line-up. The sleeve has a
small amount of sticker damage on the reverse, but is in otherwise
excellent condition [particularly given the thin paper stock used], with

THE KINKS/RAY DAVIES I have been a long term dedicated follower of THE KINKS since they were formed back in the early 1960s.Ray Davies....former Kinks lead singer/rhythm guitarist and songwriter....has now gone solo.He has since released two CD albums(both of which I have,naturally!) 1."THE STORYTELLER.2.OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES.which I have found very stimulating-musically.I give both albums ten out of ten.Ray is performing LIVE at The Bridgewater Theatre,Manchester on 31st October 2006.I am taking my wife to this concert.Any further information to "sanjak01@aol.com
