OVERSIZED GOLD DISK AWARD FOR 101 PRESENTED TO DEPECHE MODE ...definitely the crown in my collection & my favourite too!! Its about 3 times the size of a "regular" RIAA award and was presented to the band. I bought this in 2000 and paid GBP1000 for it.
Thats the most i paid for any DM item & probably the most i'll pay ever!! I have another GOLD award for MFTM (presented to MTV) and a PLATINUM award for VIOLATOR (presented to SIRE)
Other than that, it looks like i won't be spending much on records anymore, since i've decided to sell most of collection.........but i think i'll keep the awards!!

I love the implication in this sentence: anyone else who comes here is just "saying things" (like the person who well before you pointed out correctly that this is a bootleg, but whom you failed to acknowledge), but *you* on the other hand are special, because you work for the band (did I mention he works for the band?). I guess that's that wonderful humility I mentioned earlier. Nobody else is allowed to come here or anywhere else and state information that can be gleaned with a little amount of research unless they work for the band, and at the very least it has to be confirmed by Brat, who will in turn basically act as if he said it first.

Hmm...I never accused you of saying that you're surprised at the prices of bootlegs, because if I recall you said: "I am regularly surprised at what the price is for some of the things I just get for free." So unless you were getting these bootleg picture discs for free, I have no idea why it was relevant to bring this fact up unless, like usual, you wanted to turn this into a self-aggrandizing masteurbation contest. Trust me, nobody's impressed with this except your group of sycophants who frequent the official messageboard (since those are basically the only people you allow there anyway).

Agree about Playing The Angel being somewhere in-between Devotion and Violator in terms of sound/style - More the point that the quality of the new album is up there with both of them.
