Review: “We Love Janet” Radio Promo
This is a great item! Virgin Records Japan seems to be the only division of the entire label to be promoting “20 Y.O.” This item is a superb example! Virgin Records Japan came up with a great, simple phrase to connect with “20 Y.O.”; “We Love Janet”
This slogan is on everything related to the album in Japan. Wow, what a super easy, yet great way to promote Janet and “20 Y.O.” Too bad the rest of Virgin Records did not adopt this same idea.
This particular item is a great package of Janet’s music from 1993 on. I guess it could qualify as the “Virgin Years Greatest Hits” project; however there are a couple important singles that are not included. None the less, still a brilliant item!
In my opinion the addition of the “Radio Version” of “Come on Get Up” makes this item extra valuable. This version of the song was originally only found on the Japanese 1 track promo CD for “Come on Get Up.” That promo CD was hard to find back in 2003 and is rarely seen for sale now. So, if you want this mix, or a great piece to add to your Janet collection, definitely buy the “We Love Janet” Radio Promo!

First I'd like to thank EIL for this great new feature! It gives a chance for the fans to give their review of an item and let other fans know if they really need it in their collection.

As most of us know, Virgin Records completely failed to give DAMITA JO any sort of promotion. This song is a very good example of their failure.
Anyway, this promo CD is really great! The versions of the remixes on here are rare in the fact that they were not released for purchase on CD. The So So Def mixes featuring Elephant Man give the song more of an urban feel for sure. If you saw Janet's performance at '04 BET Awards, she performed "All Nite (Don't Stop)" original version mixed into the So So Def mix.
A lot of Janet's fans LOVE her "A Cappella" mixes! The A Cappella of this track delivers!
Not much more to say on this CD, but to make sure you've got it in your Janet collection!
