Question to EIL: Cliff Richard and the Drifters EP No. 1 - s
Hi, I have been sorting through some vinyl records I inherited and have found a Cliff Richard and the Drifters EP No. 1, which seems to have the same label both sides of record. Both sides are marked side 1 with the same songs listed. My cousin (who I inherited the records from) has scribbled side 2 on one of the sides. The number on the label is SEG 7903. Is this rare? Or did this sort of labelling happen often in the 50's? It has a photo sleeve and the songs listed on the as the sleeve are Apron Strings/My Babe/Down the line and on side 2 the label should say I got a feeling/Jet Black/Baby, I don't care but it is the same label side 1 label on both sides. I'd appreciate any information anyone can give.

I Have A Cliff Richard CD Single of Two Hearts however it contains the full Beatles Past Masters Volume 2 on it.

Can you tell me any more about this or its value

			Re: CLIFF RICHARD / SIR JOHN BETJEMAN / MIKE READ Sound Of Poetry (2009 issue UK 30-track 2-CD album set - Mike Read has always loved writing, reading and performing music and poetry. Whilst reading poetry from the late Sir John Betjeman, it opened the musical floodgates and over the years he wrote melodies which came into his head whilst reading the poems. He played several early demos to Lady Betjeman and she was supportive of the project. He then approached Sir George Martin who lovedthe project and got involved in the first four songs who then bought on board Rod Edwards to complete the album's production [CD2 was produced by Jon Sweet]. Mike approached artists that he thought were absolutely right for each song and Cliff Richard, David Essex, Colin Blunstone, Gene Pitney and Steve Harley are just a few of the talented individuals who were involved in this 30 track set.) 			Re: CLIFF RICHARD Cliff Sings (Rare 1959 UK first issue 16-track mono vinyl LP on the green & gold Columbia label, with Cliff aided & abetted by The Shadows along with Norrie Paramor & his Orchestra. The front-laminated flipback picture sleeve displays just a little light shelf/edgewear with some age yellowing to the non-laminated back and the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few light cosmetic surface scuffs to show for nearly sixty years 33SX1192) View this product

Who is Pauline Richardson?
I am the proud owner of a copy of this album. Mine has the name Pauline Richardson written after 'With Best Wishes to...'. However, I can't find any reference to this person. Does anyone know who she is and/or how she was connected to the film? By the way, my copy is in fantastic condition having been played perhaps only three times. My mother gave it to me a few years ago - I remember her telling me that it was given to her by someone who worked on the film who wasn't a Cliff fan. Neither was my mother, but she kept it and the album remained untouched for over forty years!

			Re: CLIFF RICHARD Summer Holiday (Rare original 1963 Elstree Extra Range label promotional only double LP set - this 'Special Presentation' double vinyl LP of the original soundtrack was limited to just 80 COPIES and they were presented individuallyto the cast & crew only - this was the personal copy of Brian Bennett, the Shadows drummer, as written in pen on the label in the space after 'With Best Wishes To...'. Review:
This is an iconic Cliff EP. In today's world it relaxes and gives the feeling that we are living in a safe world. (Not that we ever have) For Cliff fans the photographs on the sleeve would give- a -want it now feeling and the content becomes secondary. But it shouldn't. He is at his vocal best on this well produced 7" 4 song record. Great value in it's day and is still worth seeking out.

Mint About That Man for sale
I have been clearing out an elderly relatives house and came across a stack of old vinyl including the LP 'About that Man' by Cliff Richard.

Plainly the record has never been played and the sleeve is mint save for a couple of marks (which can be removed) where a price sticker has been.

I wamt to sell this record and if anyone would like to make an offer please call 079811 68905 or reply to this posting.

I also have a list of other artistes - all old vinyl and all in mint/excellent condition - both 12 and 7 inch if you would like to see the list let me know.

Another Compilation?
Not what we really need, another Cliff Richard hits compilation. However, if you are a collector, this is a must have simpy for the packaging! Never come accross a CD in a DVD case before which is why I purchased this one, will doubt if I will actually listen to it as I have all the songs an many other compilations. Very flash looking discs, too.
