wishbone72 UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 8th Jul '11 12:24 (GMT) Edited Fri 8th Jul '11 12:25 (GMT)Review: Thunder, what can I say, they where and may I say, are a truely great band. They have a growing loyal fanbase that hung on every word or riff from Luke Morley and co. This cd was released along with the similar titled 'they think its all over.. it is now' which was supposed to be the bands last ever gig back in 2000 after 10years of truely great musical material and live performance and general thunder jovial tongue in cheek humour with their own brand of rock and their geniune loyalty to the fans. I think the main cd as mentioned above is a better offering having 2cds and containing most of what is presented here minus 'My brother jake' 'Im one' 'stuck in the middle' I give it a high rating as its thunder live , they are doing mostly covers here ( they have always did every classic track justice) and sound like they are enjoying it as much as the fans. Thunder returned to the studio and stage some 2years after this curtain fall much to the fans delight, only to do throw it all in again some 8years later and..... ? such a great live act evry one should witness thunder live.[reply to this topic ]

I was trying to work out where the artwork is from.My fading memory seems to recall a 50s film calle The Thrill Of It All but I'm not 100%. Anybody going to Monsters of Rock on Saturday? I cant wait to see Thunder again. I noticed theres a Monsters Of Rock store opened up on eil now too. http://eil.com/store/Monsters_Of_Rock_Store.asp[reply to this topic ]

sdw12 UNITED KINGDOM Created Tue 14th Mar '06 11:58 (GMT)The Magnificent Seventh Any fan of good honest rock should make it their business to own this album. It's an album full of everything Thunder fans and rock fans would look for in a record. There is the usual acoustic led ballad 'I'm dreaming Again' through to the full on Led Zepesque 'Monkey See Monkey Do'. There is also shock horror, a hit single in the shape of the Stones influenced 'I Love You More Than Rock & Roll' If you want genuine British rock in the vien of Bad Co, The Faces and Humble Pie then this is one for your collection!![reply to this topic ]
