Nico4 Faxe DENMARK Created Mon 14th May '12 13:32 (GMT)I hear that the first edition of this double set was recorde The copy you have, is in mono then. There is only one way to differentiate between the mono and (very rare) stereo re-release. For the mono version, the matrix on the discs says: CD1: 82406 DVNT 12CD1 // IFPI L 852 CD2: 82407 DVNT 12CD2 // IFPI L 852 For the stereo version, the matrix says: CD1: DVNT 12 CD 1 MPO 01 @@ 6 01 // IFPI 120E CD2: DVNT 12 CD 2 MPO 01 @@ 6 01 // IFPI 121E That version is really hard to find, and there's a good chance it might even be miss-labelled under the mono release. If anyone knows where I could find this version, let me know.[reply to this topic ]

procyon AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND Created Sun 25th Sep '11 08:35 (GMT)Kris Needs mentions a fold out map in the orig vinyl edition In the liner notes to the 2 cd remaster of Orbus Terrarum Kris Needs says "The artwork featues an ancient map that Alex had on his wall super-imposed with geometric patterns which came as an overlay on the original cd 'map-case'. original vinyl copies included the map". Thats on page 9 of the 12 page booklet if you want to reference what Kris wrote. Now my question is, on page 4 of the same remastered cd booklet there is a world map that I've never seen in ANY of the editions of O.T. that I have/had(I got thelimited cd, the k7 and the2 disc vinyl on the album's orig release). What I want to know is, was there an extra limited run of vinyl editions that came witha fold out map, not the ones you get on the sleeves, but a whole world map like the Ortelius one on page 4 that I mentioned. My orig vinyl never included one. Kris sort of implies there was one, and if so, I'd like to order it. i love old maps, have many books with reprints full of em, and I love The Orb and this album. Thanks.[reply to this topic ]
