Considering the magnitude of his achievements with the Beatles, Lennon's solo career is relatively overlooked. After releasing a pair of acclaimed albums, ‘John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band’ and the classic ‘Imagine’, John struggled musically and began to live a life of debauchery with Elton John, Harry Nilsson, Ringo Starr and others. In 1980, he launched a comeback, releasing the album Double Fantasy. Just as his career was on an upswing, he was assassinated. In the years that followed, several albums of unreleased recordings appeared; perhaps the most substantial was the 1998 four-disc box set Anthology. With over 40 years of music to choose from, there is no shortage of back catalogue rarities, amazing memorabilia and quality collectibles all available right here in our specialist John Lennon Collectors Store...
