THE SHADOWS 20 Golden Greats (National Album Day 2026 UK/EU 20-track compilation LP pressed on Pure Gold Vinyl)

This retrospective collects the instrumental hits of the guitar group that led British pop in the years before The Beatles. It was first released in 1977 and is now reissued for National Album Day. The sequence opens with the classic 'Apache' and runs through 'Wonderful Land', 'FBI' and 'Foot Tapper' beforeclosing on 'Dance On'.

The Shadows first made their name as Cliff Richard's backing band, then built a parallel run of hits under their own name. At the heart of the sound is Hank Marvin's echo-soaked Fender Stratocaster lead. That tone set the template for British rock and roll guitar.

Picture sleeve with original cover artwork, factory sealed.
