WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM Estuary (Limited Edition 2026 UK/EU 6-track CD album)
The new album from the pioneers of Cascadian Black Metal, following more than twenty years of uncompromising dedication to physical craft and analog production techniques. The band formed in Olympia, Washington, and have maintained their position at the forefront of US black metal without recycling past glories.
The bulk of the album was produced and recorded at the band's own Owl Lodge studio in Olympia, Washington, with drums tracked by Nicholas Wilbur at The Unknown, a converted former church in Anacortes, Washington. Rich with alchemical and archetypal imagery, the record deploys massive percussion and seething gothic guitars. Produced by Wolves In The Throne Room. For fans of Behemoth and Enslaved.
The band will perform the album on the 'Knights of Tiamat Tour' across the UK and Europe this winter, followed by the USA and internationally in 2027. Housed in a Mediabook with a 32-page booklet. Recommended.
